Slice and Dice
It’s so far away, but we’ve been talking about if we should do a cake or cupcakes, or both? We’re leaning towards doing both. Matt wants cupcakes but I love the ideas of a gorgeous cake. Although, who doesn’t love eating cupcakes? And since they have been trending for a while now they’ve perfected them to little slices of heaven. I love the look of all these cakes and...
TOMS to the rescue
I love my TOMS and I will definitely be sporting some fun heels but I have always seen the TOMS for the Big Day and I can’t help but love them! You may just see them sneaking into the wedding photos!
Coloring them Beautiful
With my sisters and mom visiting next weekend I have been trying to think of a color for my bridesmaids to wear. I am going to be choosing a color and then letting them choose the style of their dress, I want them to feel comfortable and pretty in what they wear. I have been thinking Champagne, Gray or maybe, Green?! I love the idea of Champagne, but I am worried about the pictures looking boring....

Where shall we moon?
One of the very fun and exciting things about getting married is taking a honeymoon! We have a few top spots picked out - I get excited just thinking about it! St. John, Tahiti and Costa Rica are a few spots we’ve been thinking about checking out. We’ve also thrown out the ideas of Antigua, Rome and Greece. Now for the fun part where you get to put yourself in these photos- sunglasses...

A Thousand Mason Jars
I have an obsession with any and all ideas surrounding Mason Jars. My mom is already hoarding them from friends and family so we can use them on the big day. What beter way to do vintage chic within your wedding. Romantic, chic and reasonable, we’ll take it!

Don't forget about the little ones
There should be a handful of kids at the wedding, nieces, nephews and cousins. I recently saw this from Style Me Pretty and fell in love with it. We decided instantly that we’re going to implement something like this at least - but it will fit a little more in with our theme. A kids table!
All the kids that will be at the wedding will be old enough to be able to sit alone and I know they...
Do You Dare?
A new trend I’ve been seeing recently is Bridesmaids wearing White. I’m not sure on my thoughts of it. The brides doesn’t necessarily stand out in the pictures and it’s hard to pick her out, but I love the clean and modern look of it all.
What do you think - thumbs up or thumbs down?
Weaving the World or So it Seams
The seamstress in me - and to be honest, I’m not sure there is one - is going to be in full force for our wedding.
I’ll be using muslin or burlap material to make the head table’s tablecloth as well as table runners for each table. They are incredibly expensive to rent them so I did some research and the fabric is so much cheaper. So - hope my girls are ready to get out the wine...
Here, there, everywhere
Matt and I want to make sure our day is sprinkled with pieces of who we are. Two things dear to us are our family and traveling. A fun fact about Matt and I: we have mailed post cards to ourselves from every vacation we’ve taken together. So now we’re working on finding ways of incorporating travel and our family into the big picture that day. Here’s a few things I’ve seen...

Pure Heaven
We had the pleasure of doing our tasting with Pure Kitchen last night. We went into the tasting, so excited and left the tasting speechless. I wanted our food to be something our guests would remember and enjoy, and I now know that won’t be a problem.
The tasting was set up for us and Matt’s parents. Walking in and seeing the tables set made me get giddy for the next 14 months to fly...
That Theme You Have Going....
This question has come up more often than I expected: What are your colors?
My answer: White and a little green. No, not green dresses, green, like…from the stems of the flowers - that’s about all the green I think you’re going to see. So let’s just go with white.
We don’t have a set of colors, we just know we want, clean, modern, a little hint of vintage and a big...
